1 DAY CHIANG RAI

Chiang Rai is located about 200 kilometers from Chiang Mai and near the borders of Laos and Myanmar (formerly Burma). So, it would be a long drive for this trip (3 hours’ drive for oneway.)

The guide will pick you up at the hotel (7.30 AM). On the way, stop at Mae Khachan Hot Spring. You can enjoy boiling eggs, and soaking your feet there. Then, you can delight in the beautiful art of a famous Thai mural at White Temple or Wat Rong Khun. Continue to Baan Dam Museum, a private art museum comprising a mixture of traditional northern Thai buildings with unconventional and contemporary architecture. The next place is The Blue Temple which is known in Thai as “Wat Rong Suea Ten”, is a Buddhist temple that stands out from the others because of its sapphire blue color. Drive back to your hotel in Chiang Mai which takes about 3 hours.
